About Us
Beemers & more Motorcycle Works is a full-service BMW motorcycle and scooter shop in Fort Collins, Colorado, located just fifteen short minutes from the glorious motorcycle roads of the Rocky Mountains. The folks at Beemers & more are Independent Motorcycle Specialists, and are the only authorized dealer in the Fort Collins, Colorado area for Aprilia motorcycles, Aprilia scooters, Vespa scooters, Piaggio scooters, and Moto-Guzzi motorcycles.
Beemers was established by long-time rider/enthusiasts Roxanne and Steve Eddins. Each with several hundred thousand miles of experience riding on two wheels and each with specialized training with all of the motorcycles and scooters they service and sell. They began Beemers & more Motorcycle Works in Spring of 2005 for the BMW Motorcycle community and have grown to include Aprilia, Piaggio, Vespa, and Moto-Guzzi, continuing a commitment to the highest in European two-wheeled quality. Beemers' continuing goal is to provide an extremely experienced and professional yet customized, relaxed, and highly personal approach to the service of both you as a rider and your motorcycle or scooter from the very first day of ownership.
What started out as a small repair facility by two people with a life-long dream of working for themselves in the motorcycle world rather than large corporate businesses has grown into a full-service shop which can meet all of your needs, whether it be purchasing a new or used motorcycle or scooter, an oil or tire change, engine rebuild, routine maintenance, or superior, safe, and stylish gear for both men and women, from head to toe. To top it off, Beemers has tons of cool accessories and goodies and hosts regular events involving the riding community such as Bike Nite, Open Houses, rides, and a place to gather.

Who's Who At Beemers?
Roxanne Eddins:
Roxanne, a Colorado native who has been riding since age sixteen, has owned motorcycle brands such as Suzuki, Honda, Ducati, Aprilia, and has owned eleven BMW's over the past 32 years. She was the first female president of the BMW Motorcycle Club of Colorado in 1981 and won first-place in the BMWMOA National Mileage Contest in 1979. She previously worked at BMW shops in California and Colorado in parts, sales, and service management, and received certified training by BMW Motorrad during those times. Since her affliction of BMW motorcycles has been lifelong, she has taken all of her (now grown) sons at various times, on BMW motorcycle adventures over the years, and she continues to ride avidly. Roxanne has ridden in Canada, Mexico, Europe, and all US States except Alaska. She currently rides a 2009 BMW F650GS Twin. As an owner at Beemers Roxanne works on General Management and also manages all of the service responsibilities and shares business management with Steve.
Steve Eddins:
Steve has been riding since age fourteen and currently rides a 2009 Aprilia RXV 450. He has owned approximately fifty motorcycles, many of them BMW's. Steve is a 1996 graduate of American Motorcycle Institute (now WyoTech). As a student and the top graduate of WyoTech he achieved first place in the BMW training and was awarded the first-place trophy. After graduating from WyoTech, he went on to work for many years at BMW shops, continuing his studies until he earned and was awarded the prestigious Master Certified status from BMW Motorrad in 2003. Since opening Beemers & more in 2005, he has continued to enhance and augment his substantial training independently on BMW motorcycles and stay up-to-date on current models by further attending WyoTech's BMW classes in Daytona, Florida, on the same beautiful campus where so many BMW classes are held. He also holds advanced factory training on Ducati motorcycles. He now has additional training in Aprilia, Piaggio, and Vespa, as well. His mechanical experience began very young with training, and twelve years of positions as technician, parts and service manager within the automotive industry prior to blending his love of motorcycles and his profession. He rides avidly, year-round. As an owner at Beemers Steve oversees all of the Service Department, Vehicle Purchasing, and shares business management with Roxanne.
Jeremy Scott:
Jeremy Scott, technician, brings many years of experience to Beemers service department. He literally grew up on BMW motorcycles with his entire family taking vacations on their fleet of bikes over the years. Finding that he could not stay away from motorcycles, he formalized his training at American Motorcycle Institute (now Wyo Tech). We are very proud that he attained some of the highest scores ever recorded out of many of his classes. As an AMI graduate Jeremy worked on BMW motorcycles at BMW/Ducati of Fort Collins for nearly five years alongside future Beemers & more owner Steve Eddins. He continued to apply his mechanical knowledge and expertise over the years in the State of Washington, and rejoined us here in Colorado in 2009, bringing his substantial skills to Beemers & more. Jeremy currently rides a BMW K1200R.
Jim Key
Jim Key is a first generation motorcyclist. I can remember my mom saying, “You get a bunch of them together it’s nothing but trouble.” Jim cut his riding teeth in upstate NY on dirt bikes. He worked on farms and set trap at the fish and game club to own a Suzuki, Bultaco & Ossa. In Santa Monica, California, Jim had the fortune of becoming friends with a guy in who lived in an airplane hanger full of BMWs and piles of BMW stuff. He was fascinated with the airheads and soon bought a R100S from him in 1984. That bike took him through 7 years in veterinary surgery, 11 years as an auto mechanic, and buying a 2002GSA in 2002. Jim still rode that R100S from time to time to BMW of Denver where he worked as a technician, service writer, and manager, and also to Colorado Tourbike rentals where he services the fleet. Even though his life has taken many different turns, his commitment to BMW has stayed consistent. Jim has traveled most of the US and participated in several GS Big Dog and Big Cat events, as well as the Jimmy Lewis Off-Road riding school. Within the past 8 years he has traveled by motorcycle to Thailand, Burma, Malaysia, and Cambodia. He has also traveled on several Mexican and Central American adventures. Most of his adventures have been filmed with helmet and bike cams. Beemers & more is proud to include Jim Key in our highly experienced service department.
John Snedeger:
John’s first motorcycle was a Honda 350 Scrambler in the late 60's. After riding the Scrambeler, he moved onto a Honda 750 Super Sport and then a Honda V65 Magna. Eventually he ventured out into the European motorcycle world with a 1977 Moto Guzzi V1000 G5. Since then he has been spoiled with European character, craftsmanship, and quality. Currently he owns three BMW's and still has the Moto Guzzi and the Honda V65 Magna. He averages around 8k miles per year with a road trip of about 3k miles and the rest in canyon carving day trips and commuting. He really enjoys motorcycle stress therapy and rides as often as he can find time.
Steve Swan
Steve "Swannie" Swan's been riding since age 14, now rides a 2009 Moto Guzzi V7 Classic and a 2009 California Vintage. Prior to "going Guzzi," he owned R100GS's; rode them over Old Mosquito Pass. Swannie's owned no less than 68 motorcycles, began restoring in 1968. His meticulous ground up restorations have won first place national awards. Swan had the privilege of learning machine and mechanical operations from a motorcycle man of the 1930's through the 70's era. Swannie's been working for Roxanne and Steve since early 2007, in different supportive capacities, including events coordination, administrative assistance, front counter sales and service.
Evan Robertson:
Evan is a new rider and has owned a bike for one year. He currently rides a Ninja 250 but daydreams of riding a BMW 1000rr. Currently he is attending Colorado State University studying computer information systems. When not riding motorcycles or studying, he enjoys playing video games and upgrading his computer hardware. With several years experience in web design, computer programming, and graphic design, he plans to expand Beemers & more’s online services and community.
